The convention is an annual, international forum for the exchange of information and ideas among scholars to stimulate further work and intellectual vitality in the fields of Slavic, East European and Eurasian studies. This year’s convention theme will be “Global Conversations”—an attempt to move beyond “parallel monologues” and to investigate what the study of the ASEEES region brings to global study and what scholars can learn from those who study other places and cultures. Registration is required and there are fees involved.
