Join the Central Asia Program at George Washington University's Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies for an online discussion of Uzbekistan's handling of the COVID-19 crisis and the humanitarian disaster following the collapse of the Sardoba Dam. The talk will address questions such as: How has the Mirziyoyev government confronted these challenges? What are the social, political and economic implications? How has society responded? How do they inform us about the extent and nature of the reforms?
