Please join the Harriman Institute and the the SIPA Eurasia student group for a roundtable discussion about the formation of Eurasian and national identities in the former Soviet republics, and the challenges these groups face in their communities. 

This talk will touch upon political, economic, geographical and cultural matters that unite such communities under a common identity. Major focus will be given to cultural aspects that can foster a new positive image replacing a ‘Soviet’ cliché and promote better understanding of the diversity of cultures and ethnicities involved under Eurasian umbrella.
