CGIS Knafel Building, 1737 Cambridge Street, Room K354, Cambridge, MA

Join Harvard's Davis Center for a talk with Ronald F. Lehman II on the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty. In 1987, Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev brought an end to the arms race with the signing of the INF Treaty. Today, this historic arms control agreement hangs in the balance. Join the Honorable Ronald F. Lehman and the Davis Center Negotiation Task Force (NTF) in the analysis of INF treaty negotiations and prospects for the future. In addition to his current position at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Lehman has worked in the White House and at the Departments of State and Defense and directed the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency from 1989 to 1993.

Speaker:

Ronald F. Lehman II, counselor to the director of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory; former director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency
