Join Harvard's Davis Center for a talk with Egor Lazarev on Ramzan Kadyrov's government and his promotion of sharia and customary law in Chechnya. This lecture comes as part of a workshop that brings together graduate students, postdocs and area faculty to discuss new work related to politics and economics in the post-communist (and communist) countries of Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and Asia.
