Join NYU's Jordan Center for a talk with Ted Gerber on variation in public support for incumbent governments in four post-Soviet countries: Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. Professor Gerber will discuss his current work on this subject, in which he analyzes housing status, socioeconomic ideology and nationalism both as reflections of the legacy of state socialism and as drivers of regime support and opposition. Lunch will be served.
