Winds of Change? Prospects for the U.S.-Russia Relationship after 2020

Sept. 29, 2020, 4:00-5:00pm (registration required)
Online

Join Harvard's Davis Center for a candid conversation with Fiona Hill about how the United States should deal with Russia and whether Belarus, Navalny and coronavirus have changed the calculus.

Are U.S.-Russia relations doomed to go from bad to worse? Events of the past month have not suggested that improvement is in the works. Does this even matter in light of our growing preoccupation with China? An experienced Russia-watcher, Dr. Hill address these questions and will also provide insight into how Russians are thinking about contemporary geopolitics in a world aflame with bad news.

Registration is required, and information can be found on the event page (linked in the first paragraph).

Speakers:

Fiona Hill, senior fellow, Center on the United States and Europe, Foreign Policy Program, Brookings Institution

Alexandra Vacroux (moderator), executive director, Davis Center; lecturer on government, Harvard University
