Countering Authoritarism and Nationalism: Russia Needs Multiple Liberal Leaders
Join Harvard's Davis Center for a talk with Zhanna Nemtsova on contemporary Russian politics and the need for multiple liberal leaders. After studying economics at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Nemtsova pursued a career in journalism at the Russian business news channel RBC TV, where she worked as a host and interviewed political and business figures. Following the assassination of her father, political opposition leader and Putin critic Boris Nemtsov in February 2015, she left the country and ended up in Germany, where she works now for Deutsche Welle and hosts her own show, Nemtsova.Interview.
