Countering Authoritarism and Nationalism: Russia Needs Multiple Liberal Leaders

Join Harvard's Davis Center for a talk with Zhanna Nemtsova on contemporary Russian politics and the need for multiple liberal leaders. After studying economics at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Nemtsova pursued a career in journalism at the Russian business news channel RBC TV, where she worked as a host and interviewed political and business figures. Following the assassination of her father, political opposition leader and Putin-critic Boris Nemtsov in February 2015, she left the country and ended up in Germany, where she works now for Deutsche Welle and hosts her own show, Nemtsova.Interview.
