Giorgi Badridze, Georgia’s former ambassador to the U.K., will address the impact the war against Ukraine has had on Georgia’s relations with the European Union and Russia. Granted a European perspective by the Council of Europe in June 2022, Georgia must satisfy 12 conditions to gain candidacy by the end of this year.  Why is this important to Georgia and the EU? What does it tell us about the progress of democracy in Georgia, and what is the future of Georgia should it fail to gain EU candidacy?
