The Applied History Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center seeks applications for a full-time Research Assistant. The Applied History Research Assistant’s responsibilities will include organizing seminars for the Ernest May Fellows in History and Policy, running regular sessions of the Applied History Working Group, and editing the Applied History Network Newsletter. The research assistant will report directly to Graham Allison (Douglas Dillon Professor of Government, Harvard Kennedy School) and Calder Walton (Assistant Director, Applied History Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center). The successful candidate will be an organizationally-capable B.A. or M.A. holder with a passion for history and a commitment to the idea that history can be effectively applied to clarify contemporary international challenges. The Research Assistant will be expected to support the program for a two-year term.
